Send or source your item
You’re welcome to send your materials to me, or I can help source them for you. I’ll then create a design mock-up for you to review and confirm.

Creating your piece
Once everything is approved, your piece will be carefully personalised and sent your way.

How much is your service?
Calligraphy services start from $4 per piece. Final pricing will vary depending on the material, quantity, personalisation method, and the length or complexity of the wording.
As a general guide, simpler pieces such as initals will sit at the lower end, while longer phrases or more detailed work will be priced higher.

What items/materials can be customized
Calligraphy can be applied across a range of materials, most commonly paper-based goods, leather pieces, fabrics, and ribbons. It can also be used on select surfaces like certain plastics and wood.
Popular items include place cards, envelopes, menus, signage, and guest favours such as luggage tags — all personalised with names, dates, or meaningful words.
Are there any items you do not customize on?
Calligraphy is quite versatile and can be applied across a range of surfaces, but suitability may vary depending on the material, texture, and shape of the item.

Do I need to provide the item(s) for customizing?
Materials are usually provided by the client, so you can choose exactly what you’d like your pieces to be written on. You’re welcome to have items shipped directly to the studio if needed.
In some cases, I may be able to help source materials for you — feel free to mention this in your enquiry.
What is the turnaround time?
The turnaround time for custom calligraphy orders will vary depending on the quantity, materials, and scope of the project. For larger quantities, additional lead time may be required.
If you’re planning for an event, it’s best to get in touch at least 3 months in advance, even if your guest list isn’t finalised yet — this allows time to prepare materials and secure your spot. Your final guest list will only need to be confirmed around 5 weeks prior to dispatch.
What can be written on my piece(s)?
You can include a range of wording depending on the surface, available space, and the type of piece. Common options include names, initials, dates, guest lists, and short phrases.
We recommend keeping the wording concise to ensure clarity and a balanced finish. If you have a specific idea in mind, feel free to share it — I’ll be happy to help bring it together in a way that feels considered and personal.
Can I provide my own design or logo for customizing?
It depends on the complexity of your design or logo. While we can work with custom designs, please keep in mind that due to the hand-written nature of our services, we may not be able to replicate your design with 100% accuracy. We will do our best to capture the essence and style of your design, but slight variations may occur.
If you have a specific design in mind, please contact us with an image file (PNG, JPG, or AI), and we'll assess its feasibility for calligraphy.
