Hi, I’m Ashlee
I’m the designer and calligrapher behind everything you see here. I’ve always shown love by making things by hand. When I discovered calligraphy back in 2018, it felt so natural to start creating pretty, handmade pieces for people.
What started with small greeting cards slowly grew into weddings. I completely fell in love with creating the little details that become a part of someone's most important day.
In late 2023, I packed up my creative studio in Hong Kong and moved Rather Delicate across the world to Sydney. Today, I'm running my studio here, creating custom signage and keepsakes for celebrations across Australia and worldwide.

Planning an engagement party, a bridal shower, or a wedding is a whole journey. It is so easy to get caught up in the big logistics and feel like the small things get lost. But I firmly believe that those thoughtful, pretty touches are exactly what make an event feel unique, personal, and put-together.
Every single piece in the studio starts the exact same way: written out by hand in my signature calligraphy style, then refined until it feels right. From there, it comes to life through raw brushstrokes on premium linen or detailed engraving. I pay an immense amount of attention to the details (probably more than I should)! But that's what makes it feel special.

Because I want to ensure every single part of your bridal journey looks effortless and aesthetic, no matter where you are celebrating in the world.
Whether I am hand-painting a custom linen sign for your reception space, engraving a cake knife set you'll hold onto forever, or working live on-site to personalize items for events across Sydney, making things look pretty is the part I love the most.
