I thought you should know who's behind everything you see here. I've always shown love through making things by hand, so in 2018 when I discovered calligraphy, it felt like the most natural thing in the world to start making beautiful, handmade pieces for more people.
how it started
It actually began with greeting cards. Small, handwritten notes that I hoped would make someone's day a little better.
From there, it grew into weddings. Vows, signage, the little details that became part of someone's most important day. I got to be part of so many meaningful moments, even in a small way.
And slowly, Rather Delicate grew into something more.
Today, Rather Delicate exists to make celebrating easier and more beautiful, for every moment worth getting everyone together for. Not just weddings. Any excuse works.
Made with care
Every piece starts the same way, by hand.
I write each design in my calligraphy style first, then refine it until it feels right. From there, it comes to life through painting, engraving, or embroidery, finished piece by piece.
I pay a lot of attention to the details. Probably more than I should. But I think that is what makes it feel personal.
Why I do this
Because I get it too.
The group chat that never turns into an actual plan.
The friend you keep meaning to catch up with.
The moment that passes before you've had a chance to make it special.
Making it easier to show up for those moments is the part I love the most.
